The UK's largest employee-owned law firm is investing in a new Stoke-on-Trent office, reinforcing its commitment to the region and supporting continued growth across Staffordshire and the wider Midlands.
Just 18 months after entering Staffordshire through the acquisition of long-established local firm Tinsdills Solicitors, Talbots Law is investing in larger, modern premises at East Court, Campbell Road, Stoke-on-Trent. The move reflects the firm's growing presence in Staffordshire and its ambition to make expert legal advice even more accessible to individuals, families and businesses across the region.
Talbots will occupy a 8000 sq ft first-floor office, providing a contemporary environment for both colleagues and clients. The new premises will feature open-plan workspace, lift access, extensive on-site parking and enhanced IT infrastructure, creating a modern base from which the firm can continue to deliver high-quality legal services.
Strategically located close to the A50 and A500, East Court offers excellent connectivity across Staffordshire and the wider Midlands. The location will provide improved accessibility for clients while creating additional capacity to support the firm's future growth in the region.
The investment comes during another strong year of growth for Talbots, which is on track to achieve circa £48 million turnover this financial year. Founded in Kidderminster in 1828, the firm now employs more than 600 people across 19 offices throughout the West Midlands and surrounding areas, providing legal support to individuals, families and businesses at every stage of their journey.
Alongside its growth, Talbots has continued to strengthen its reputation for legal excellence, with teams and individuals recognised by leading independent legal directories including The Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners. The firm has also received national industry recognition for both client service and business performance.
As the UK's largest employee-owned law firm, Talbots continues to invest in its people, technology and infrastructure to enhance the service it provides to clients. Through its Law for Life, Law for Business and Talbots Rural propositions, the firm delivers specialist legal advice to individuals, families and businesses across a broad range of personal, commercial and rural matters, combining the expertise of a substantial legal practice with the personal approach of a trusted regional partner.
The new office will provide a high-quality environment for colleagues while strengthening the firm's ability to meet growing demand for legal services across the region. Designed as a full-service regional hub for Talbots, the investment reflects the firm's long-term commitment to Staffordshire and the wider Midlands. It will also support continued expansion across a range of legal disciplines, creating new career opportunities and reinforcing Talbots' position as one of the region's leading law firms.

"This investment is about much more than a new office. It reflects our confidence in Staffordshire, our commitment to the clients and communities we serve and our ambition for the future.

The new office provides a strong platform for continued expansion, allowing us to further strengthen our legal expertise, create new career opportunities and meet the growing demand for our services across Staffordshire and the wider Midlands.
We have built a strong reputation for delivering exceptional client service, reflected in our recognition within both Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners. This latest investment demonstrates our determination to continue building on that success for many years to come."
The move forms part of Talbots' wider growth strategy and represents a significant investment in its future presence across Staffordshire.
