First official Minecraft experience of its kind in the nation’s biggest playground

Alton Towers Resort has announced a brand-new Minecraft summer event, ‘Minecraft Meet the Mobs’, running from 18 July to 28 August.

The event is expected to attract visitors from across the UK, providing a boost to
Staffordshire's visitor economy during the peak summer holiday period.

The interactive experience will bring some of Minecraft's most popular characters
to life, with activities and attractions designed for visitors of all ages. Guests can
meet iconic mobs including Creepers, Axolotls, Baby Pandas and Baby Wolves,
take part in themed activities and enjoy Minecraft-inspired food, drink and
merchandise.

Jump into an interactive event where your favourite mobs come to life. Discover
experiences for the whole family, from hands-on activities to mob encounters
with creepers, axolotls, baby pandas, and more!

Explore the Baby Mob Trail with iconic Minecraft scenes to unlock an exclusive in-game reward. Restore your hunger bar with Minecraft inspired food and drink, enjoy Minecraft themed sets and create unforgettable moments together. Whether you’re a seasoned player or new to the world, this is your chance to experience the game in real life.

Take part in the Meet the Mobs Trail, a journey through game-inspired settings
in search of the adorable baby mobs. Complete the challenge to earn an exclusive in-game digital reward.

Get up close with your favourite mobs at Meet & Greets featuring iconic figures
like creeper, iron golem, chicken jockey, axolotl, baby panda, chick, and baby
wolf, and take unforgettable photos.

At the Minecraft Hub, a full program of activities awaits you, while themed snack
stands and exclusive merchandise are also available.
