Firefighters remained at the scene of a derelict building fire in Hanley overnight after the property was found well alight.
Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service was called to Ephraim Street at 6.15pm on Wednesday 22 July following reports of a fire.
Four fire appliances and aerial ladder platforms attended the incident.
The aerial platforms were used to remove roof tiles from the building, while firefighters used main jets and hose reel jets to bring the blaze under control.
Crews remained at the scene overnight to monitor the building and extinguish any remaining hotspots.
Staffordshire Police said officers were called to Ephraim Street at 6.40pm and attended alongside the fire service.
Police assisted with traffic management while firefighters dealt with the incident. Officers left the scene at around 10pm after the fire had been extinguished.
