Den Siegertsz to Join 6 Towns Radio

We are delighted to announce that broadcasting legend, Den Siegertsz will be joining the 6 Towns Radio family.

Den is no stranger to radio listeners in Stoke-on-Trent, Newcastle-under-Lyme and beyond having spent nearly 30 years entertaining Staffordshire through BBC Radio Stoke.

Following a stint at Biddulph-based Churnet Sound, he will be bringing with him his popular brand of radio to Sunday afternoon’s complimenting, an already excellent local lineup.

Den’s weekly Sunday show will be sponsored by Povey’s Oatcakes, famous for producing the Staffordshire delicacy.

Alongside his weekly show, he will also be presenting Den Siegertsz: In The Spotlight, a monthly show dedicated to his love of Theatre and the arts sponsored by Regent Chambers.

Talking about joining 6 Towns Radio, Den said:

“I’m over the moon to be joining the team at 6 Towns Radio, they have been around for more than 13 years and have always flown the flag for the local area, I’m looking forward to being a part of it!

“I’d also like to thank Alex at Povey’s Oatcakes for his continued support as he once again becomes a sponsor of a show of mine!

“I can’t wait for you to all join me again and I’m looking forward to speaking to you all on the 25th February.”

Station Director, Dan Townley said:

“Den is a well-known voice and personality across our region and it is great to welcome him to 6 Towns Radio.

“It is a testament to the hard work being put in behind the scenes by our volunteers that a presenter like Den wants to join us, he will complement what we have been building for over a decade – a place where you can be unashamedly yourself and proud of where you live.

“Welcome to 6 Towns Radio, Den!”
