There is something rather special about wrapping up warm, heading out into the November evening and watching the Staffordshire sky light up with fireworks.

Bonfire Night celebrations are returning across the county for 2026, with events ranging from traditional bonfires to large scale displays at some of Staffordshire’s best known attractions.

Whether you fancy combining fireworks with roller coasters, want a traditional bonfire and funfair, or are looking for a low bang event, here are some of the best places to consider this November.

Alton Towers Resort Fireworks

When: 6th to 8th November

Alton Towers Resort will bring its 2026 theme park season to a close with three nights of fireworks. The Ultimate Fireworks Spectacular combines a day of theme park thrills with live entertainment before a huge fireworks finale brings the evening, and the season, to an end.

For those who want to make a full day of Bonfire Night celebrations rather than simply heading out for an evening display, this is one of Staffordshire’s biggest options.

Drayton Manor Resort Fireworks & Lake Show

31st October & 1st November

Drayton Manor Resort is also marking the end of its 2026 season with fireworks. Visitors can gather around the lake for an evening featuring soaring water jets, lights, fire and Halloween themed entertainment before fireworks take over the night sky.

It offers another opportunity to combine a visit to one of Staffordshire’s major attractions with a large scale seasonal celebration.

Weston Park Bonfire and Fireworks Night

When: 8th November

For something with a more traditional Bonfire Night feel, Weston Park will host its Bonfire and Fireworks Night on 8 November.

The historic parkland will provide the backdrop for a giant bonfire, two separate firework displays and a traditional funfair.

It is a chance to enjoy the familiar sights and sounds of Bonfire Night within one of the region’s historic estates.

Rugeley Cricket Club Bonfire and Fireworks

When: 7th November

Rugeley Cricket Club is bringing back its Bonfire and Fireworks event with a display from World Champions Pyrotex Fireworks, alongside a roaring bonfire, fairground rides, glow toy stalls, food vans, sweet stalls and an outdoor bar.

Staffordshire County Showground Fireworks Extravaganza

When: 1st November

Staffordshire County Showground will get the county’s fireworks celebrations under way with its annual Fireworks Extravaganza on 1st November. The event includes a funfair, free parking and a colourful fireworks display, bringing a traditional fireworks night to the county showground.

With the event taking place several days before Bonfire Night itself, it could also be a useful choice for anyone wanting to start their November celebrations early.

Eccleshall Cricket Club and Scouts Fireworks Night

When: 7th November

Eccleshall Cricket Club and 1st Eccleshall Scouts will host their Fireworks Night on Saturday 7 November, with gates opening at 5pm and fireworks at 7pm. Himley Hall - 50 years of Himley Fireworks Display

When: 7th November

Premium viewing, hall access and a sensory room are also available, with pre booking required or advised for selected areas.

Statfold Country Park Fireworks Spectacular

When: 7th November

Statfold Country Park will host its Fireworks Spectacular on 7th November, combining fireworks with a full evening of entertainment. There will be live entertainment, funfair rides and street food before the night concludes with a fireworks display.

For visitors looking for more than the main display itself, the combination of entertainment, food and rides makes this another option for a full evening out.

Lower Drayton Farm Low Bang Fireworks and Bonfire Parties

When: 2nd and 8th November

Lower Drayton Farm is taking a different approach to its November celebrations with two low bang firework and bonfire parties. Taking place on 2nd and 8th November, the events will combine low bang fireworks with bonfires, live music, street food and seasonal celebrations.

With two dates available, Lower Drayton Farm also gives visitors another opportunity to catch a fireworks event if they cannot make Bonfire Night itself.

A week of Bonfire Night celebrations across Staffordshire

With events stretching from 1st to 8th November, Bonfire Night in Staffordshire is about much more than one evening in 2026.

From the huge seasonal finales at Alton Towers Resort and Drayton Manor Resort to traditional celebrations at Weston Park, there are plenty of different ways to experience fireworks across the county. And for those looking for something a little different, Lower Drayton Farm’s low bang parties provide another choice among Staffordshire’s November celebrations.

Whichever event you choose, it looks set to be a busy week of bonfires, fireworks and autumn evenings across Staffordshire.
