A pioneering communications platform developed in Staffordshire has been unveiled to an audience of industry specialists at the prestigious British Library in London.

Harrison Carloss, based in Festival Park, created the co.agency system as an in-house solution, and due to its potential, won funding from Innovate UK to scale up to commercialisation for national and international creative industries.

Focused on addressing operational challenges in the client-agency space, co.agency enhances productivity by streamlining communications, account admin, software tools and logins.

Adam Mobley, MD of Harrison Carloss said:

“It’s been a great journey seeing co.agency evolve and develop, and to have its potential

recognised by Innovate UK for national and international roll out.

“The feedback from the London event was very positive and we were proud to be there showcasing a dynamic digital solution that originated in Staffordshire.

“We developed the platform to directly address complex client communications, which are one of the biggest pressure points for agencies today.

“It works by integrating communications between agencies and their clients, working alongside project management tools and existing comms channels such as Microsoft Teams, Slack and Google Chat.

“The end result brings conversations, file sharing, reporting and collaboration into a single, streamlined hub, to enable agencies deliver a more efficient and transparent client experience.”

co.agency was introduced to key creative and digital sector clients last year under a pilot scheme.

Their input was then embedded into the launch-ready version, which was unveiled at the Agency Hackers’ Happy Clients Account Management and Client Services Summit at the British Library.

Adam Mobley added:

“Since we introduced co.agency under a soft launch into the sector, it has been constantly evolving.

“New developments have included seamless AI integration, with built-in access to ChatGPT and real-time monitoring, which alerts agencies in less than a minute if a website or server goes down.

“We’ve also introduced enhanced security, and customisable dashboards, building on co.agency’s existing capabilities, which include live ticketing, file sharing, integrated analytics and reporting.”
