Senior Staffy Club launches ticket auction for Aladdin pantomime at Stafford Gatehouse Theatre

Senior Staffy Club is offering Staffordshire residents the chance to enjoy a festive night at the pantomime while raising money to support its senior dogs.

The charity has two tickets available for the opening night of Aladdin at Stafford Gatehouse Theatre on Friday 4 December at 7pm.

Rather than holding a traditional raffle, Senior Staffy Club is inviting supporters to take part in a blind auction, with the highest bidder winning both tickets.

Anyone wishing to take part can submit their bid by emailing:

fundraising@seniorstaffyclub.co.uk.

The deadline for bids is Friday 30 October 2026.

All money raised through the auction will go towards supporting Senior Staffy Club's senior dogs.

About Senior Staffy Club

Senior Staffy Club is a registered charity (No. 1156723) dedicated to rescuing and rehoming Staffordshire Bull Terriers and Staffy crosses aged seven years and older.

Many of the dogs come into rescue following changes in their owners’ circumstances, bereavement or being found as strays. Older dogs can often struggle to find new homes, but the charity provides care and support until the right home is found.

Based mainly in the Midlands, Senior Staffy Club rehomes dogs throughout the UK, giving senior Staffies another chance at a loving home.

Why the Signal exists

Real news takes time. Thanks for taking yours.

You've just read a story that took time to get right. No clickbait, no racing to be first, no ads chasing you down the page.

I started The Staffordshire Signal because I got fed up of local news that chased clicks instead of stories. We're independent, not-for-profit, IMPRESS-regulated and owned right here, so we answer to nobody but you.

The honest bit: local news only survives if local people choose it. If we don't, it goes.
