Castle Classics returns to Newcastle-under-Lyme Ironmarket, on 24th October, with over 100 cars pre-registered for its fifth show. Five new prize donors support this year’s event: Stacks Of Tyres, The Staffordshire Signal, DN Details, MossChem Ltd and Backyard Burgers.
What’s new: Castle Classics returns to Newcastle-under-Lyme on Saturday 24 October, introducing a People’s Choice award for visitors to vote for their favourite car.
By the numbers: More than 100 vehicles have pre-registered for the fifth edition, running from 10am to 3pm, with six award categories and five prize donors.
Worth knowing: The event is free for spectators. All participating vehicles must be registered in advance, with no entries accepted on the day.

Now in its fifth edition, the popular event is delivered by Newcastle-under-Lyme BID in partnership with The Red Haired Stokie and 6 Towns Radio.
The vehicles on display will represent more than a century of automotive history, from early 1900s models to modern classics from the 1990s and early 2000s.
Running from 10am to 3pm, Castle Classics is free to attend and offers a family friendly day out, with music from 6 Towns Radio and food available from Backyard Burgers. Visitors are also encouraged to explore the town centre’s shops, cafes, hospitality venues and independent businesses alongside the vehicle displays.
This year introduces a new People’s Choice award, giving visitors the chance to vote for their favourite vehicle on display. Voting slips can be collected and submitted at the 6 Towns Radio gazebo on the Ironmarket. This joins the five judged categories: Best in Show, Show & Shine, Most Unique, Best Classic and Best Retro.
Prizes include car care packages, detailing vouchers and vehicle maintenance services, generously provided by awards sponsors Stacks Of Tyres, The Staffordshire Signal, DN Details and MossChem Ltd, with an additional contribution from Backyard Burgers. All registered exhibitors will automatically be entered into the competition, with awards presented by the 6 Towns Radio team at 2:30pm.
