Businesses Invited to Take Part in Charity Padel Tournament

Staffordshire businesses are invited to compete in a charity padel tournament at Ace Padel Stoke, raising funds for disabled and neurodivergent children.

Businesses from across Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire are being encouraged to pick up a padel racket and support disabled and neurodivergent children and young people at a fundraising tournament next month.

Caudwell Children has partnered with Ace Padel Stoke to launch the Padel with Purpose Tournament, bringing together local companies for a day of sport, networking, and fundraising on Friday 2nd October at the flagship Cobridge venue.

The event will see teams of two compete in a friendly but competitive padel tournament, alongside coaching sessions and opportunities to connect with other businesses from across the region.

Funds raised will help Caudwell Children, a national charity headquartered in Keele, continue its work supporting disabled and neurodivergent children and young people across the UK.

Adding a special local dimension to the event, young people from the charity's Shaping Futures programme will be supporting the event, demonstrating the skills they have developed through sessions with Ace Padel Stoke.

The tournament costs £100 per team of two, with businesses of all sizes invited to enter.

Founded in 2000 by entrepreneur, business leader and philanthropist John Caudwell, Caudwell Children has grown over the past 25 years into a leading UK charity dedicated to supporting disabled and neurodivergent children and their families. All donations directly fund practical and emotional services, which have been carefully developed with the direct input of children and families.
