M6toll sponsors free health checks during Driver Health Week

M6toll is sponsoring free health checks for professional drivers at Roadchef Norton Canes as part of the RHA’s Driver Health Week.

M6toll is supporting the health and wellbeing of professional drivers by sponsoring free health checks as part of the Road Haulage Association’s Driver Health Week event.

In partnership with the RHA and campaign partners for Driver Health Week, drivers will have access to a Driver Health Hub at Roadchef Norton Canes on the M6toll on Wednesday 2nd September, giving HGV drivers access to a qualified doctor and a range of free health assessments, support and advice.

Driver Health Week aims to improve the physical and mental wellbeing of professional drivers, while highlighting the important link between driver health, road safety and the resilience of the haulage and logistics industry.

The initiative forms part of M6toll’s ongoing engagement with the HGV and logistics sector and its commitment to being a genuine partner to the haulage industry.

Supporting drivers to take care of their health also complements M6toll’s focus on helping to make journeys safer and less stressful.

M6toll will continue its support for Driver Health Week by attending and exhibiting at the Driver Health Day at Loughborough University on Friday 4th September. The event will bring together representatives from government, transport, healthcare and academia to discuss the future of driver health and wellbeing.

Through its sponsorship of the driver health checks, M6toll hopes to encourage more professional drivers to prioritise their wellbeing and access valuable health advice while they are out on the road.
