Final Countdown to Stafford Black Tie Charity Event Supporting Head and Neck Cancer Care

This weekend a special black tie evening in Stafford raises money for the Head and Neck Cancer Team at University Hospitals of North Midlands (UHNM) Charity.

Head and neck cancer is an area of cancer that often receives far less public attention than some of the more widely recognised cancers, despite its significant impact on patients and their families. It is the 7th most common cancer in the UK, with around 13,800 new cases every year, while around 4,900 people die from head and neck cancer each year.

The upcoming charity event aims to help shine a light on the disease while raising much-needed funds for the specialist team supporting patients across Staffordshire and beyond.

The Head and Neck Cancer Charity Black Tie Event takes place on Saturday 3 October at The Post House Bar & Grill in Stafford, bringing together the local community for an evening of good food, entertainment and fundraising.

With the event now just days away, organisers are encouraging anyone still hoping to attend to get their tickets before the big night.

The evening will run from 7pm until 11:30pm, with guests invited to dress up for a proper black tie occasion, while enjoying a buffet and an evening centred around raising money for an important local cause.

A major part of the evening will be the charity auction and raffle, with a growing selection of prizes available to win or bid on. These include luxury getaways, family panto tickets, Stafford Got Soul & Motown passes, a high-speed car driving experience, professional dance lessons, hairdresser vouchers, tarot readings, luxury hampers and signed sports memorabilia.

Every ticket and contribution on the night will help support the Head and Neck Cancer Team through UHNM Charity.

The event is about more than simply raising money. It is also an opportunity for friends, families and the wider community to come together, enjoy an evening out and show their support for patients and families affected by head and neck cancer.

With the final week now here, organisers are hoping to finish the build-up with a strong turnout and make the evening one to remember.
