Trentham Live announce Nathan Dawe as special guest for Jess Glynne on Friday 16th August for this year’s music spectacular.
The 4-day music event is bigger and better than ever before having announced Deacon Blue, Jess Glynne, Manic Street Preachers and Busted as the headline acts. The event takes place from Thursday 15th August through to Sunday 18th August 2024. Four amazing shows in one unique setting!
NATHAN DAWE
BRIT-nominated DJ/producer Nathan Dawe is one of the UK’s biggest breakout dance acts of the last five years. Buoyed by a huge fan base in Birmingham and the Midlands, Nathan’s regional transmits nationwide – as evidenced by a series of standout UK Top 10 singles.
From BRIT-nominated UK #3 single ‘Lighter’ ft. KSI to 2022’s UK #9 summer anthem ’21 Reasons’ ft. Ella Henderson, Nathan has established himself as a bonafide and definitive dance artist. Further collaborations with everyone from Little Mix to Anne-Marie to Joel Corry & Ella Henderson on 2023 summer smash, ‘O800 HEAVEN’, also continue to showcase his fluid and versatile approach to music-making.
If that wasn’t enough, Nathan has also earned a host of different accolades over the last three years. In January 2021, he was crowned MTV’s Push Artist for 2021 for example, holding off competition from the likes of Griff, Arlo Parks and Pa Salieu, and was later also made an official ambassador of Aston Villa FC’s Academy – the football team he’s supported since he was a boy.
Nathan also held down his debut residency at Ibiza Rocks in 2021 – he played his third consecutive residency slot this summer – and has appeared at some of the UK’s biggest dance festivals including Creamfields, We Are FSTVL, Pierjam, Bassfest and Boardmasters, as well as a host of bustling club dates across Europe all summer long.
Trentham Live has established itself as a Summer event on the UK festival calendar, drawing music enthusiasts from far and wide, promising an unforgettable weekend for music lovers of all ages. The event is now hailed as a firm family favourite in the event calendar, with a growing number of families choosing it as their first live music experience with young children along with a great selection of food vendors.
Other special guests over the Trentham Live weekend include Lightning Seeds with Deacon Blue on Thursday 15th August. As well as Nathan Dawe, Jess Glynne’s special guest also includes Sam Tompkins on Friday 16th August and Busted’s guests on Sunday 18th August are Dadi Freyr and SOAP.
