Have you ever wanted to break a world record? Nows your chance!

YMCA North Staffs is giving, staff, customers, volunteers and community members the opportunity this coming Saturday to break the record set for the largest amount of basketballs to be shot through a hoop in one day!
It is hoped that that 5 million people worldwide will take part in the challenge and celebrate the work the YMCA does across the globe with a total of 71 YMCA establishments taking part.
The interesting thing about this record attempt is not only the attempt itself but the fact that basketball was invented in a YMCA gymnasium in 1891 by a man called James Naismith. The prospect of taking part in this challenge is surely too good to miss.

If you are interested in taking part then simply pop along to YMCA North Staffs, Edinburgh House, Harding Road, Hanley, Stoke on Trent, ST6 7EP at 11.am and6 Towns Radio YMCA World Record Attempt  take it from there. Enjoy!
