On today's Crime line:
Robbery at Sneyd Green Fast Food Outlet
Police are appealing for witnesses following a robbery at a fast food outlet in Sneyd Green, S.O.T. A man entered the Oriental Chinese and English takeaway on Milton Road just before 11pm on Monday the 30th of July. He threatened a female member of staff with a bladed weapon believed to be a kitchen knife and ordered her to open the till.

He fled the scene with a quantity of cash. Fortunately the woman was not injured, just left shaken by the incident.
The offender was white and 5ft 10 inches to 5f 11inches tall. He was wearing a distinctive dear stalker type hat which was khaki in color and had fleecy material on the upturn flaps. He was wearing a dark grey colored top, possibly a hooded one and black track suit bottoms with three white stripes.

An investigation into the incident is now underway and police are appealing for information. They are keen to speak to anyone who saw a man acting suspiciously in the vicinity of the takeaway on Monday night to come forward.

Anyone with information is asked to contact D.C Rebecca Collier at Staffs Police on 101 quoting number 839 of July 30th or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Missing Stoke-on-Trent Man

Staffordshire Police is appealing for the public to report any sightings of a missing Stoke-on-Trent man.

Kevin Bloor, aged 50, was reported missing after he was last seen on Tuesday 17 July. He was last heard from on Sunday 29 July when he sent a text message stating he would be home on Monday. However, he failed to return and has not been heard from since.

Mr Bloor, of Grangewood Road, Meir, is described as white, 6ft 1ins tall with a thin build and has shaven brown hair which is greying at the sides (the photo attached is four years old and Mr Bloor is now thinner). He was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt, pale-washed denim trousers, a dark blue denim jacket and white trainers.

Mr Bloor has a small hoop earring with diamonds in his right ear. He has several tattoos including a star on his left hand, a ring tattoo on the fourth finger of his right hand, the word ‘dad’ on his right wrist, a tribal pattern on his right forearm, a bird with the words ‘Shaz’ and ‘Kev’ on his upper right arm, a tiger on his upper left arm and a celtic design across the back of his neck.

It is believed he may be in the Warrington area of Cheshire or Manchester.

Sgt Lee Crowther, Stoke-on-Trent South Local Policing Team, said: “As time passes we are growing increasingly concerned for Mr Bloor’s safety as this behaviour is very out of character for him.

“Anyone who has seen him or has any information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Staffordshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 363 of July 29.”
