Penkhull Jazz & Blues 21 July 2012 - Live on 6 Towns Radio

19 Jul 2012
This Saturday (21st. July) will see the arrival of the 4th year of the popular Penkhull Jazz and Blues Festival which, as usual, promises, to be a fantastic day out for everyone. This will be the third year running that Penkhull will run the event centred around the village green.

6 Towns Radio are the official media partners and will be broadcasting the events on 6 Towns 2
(see the right hand side of the website or visit http://87.106.109.203:8991/ )to access the broadcast.

This one day event which in its first year attracted over 4000+ visitors to the village, has very much a community ethos at the heart of it, whichever way you look at it, incorporating stalls from local businesses and charities.

You may also be interested to know that Penkhull was literally bursting at the seems last year, with an estimated 10,000 music fans packing the small village green during the course of the day and its pubs.
The great commodities of Penhkull Jazz and Blues really do stack up, as it generates an astounding atmosphere, aswell as the actual village considered by many to be, as a beautiful village steeped in history.

The years music will again not disappoint with an abundance of great musicians and bands to really get the party started.

Jim McShee, well known local musician, (and 6 Towns Radio presenter) who has been described as 'Stoke-on-Trents answer to Johnny Cash' will kick things off on the Village Green which will the centrepiece of the festival.

6 Towns Radio are happy to announce that we are in media partnership with Penkhull Jazz and Blues. Some of our very own presenters will be taking to the stage to help introduce all the artists and we would encourage you to come along and join in the fun. 6 Towns Radio will be involved so the sun will be out and about if previous events are anything to go by.
