Cre8net 6 Towns Radio

It's a 5 day programme of events including guest speakers, master classes and action learning aimed at supporting creative industries in North Staffordshire through debate, discussion, networking and connecting people.

The first event was on Wednesday  March 28th 2012 at the Burslem School of Art in Queen St,  Burslem and was attended by over 60 guest.
It featured guest  speaker Andy Davies of BBC Radio 2 (former presenter and producer of the Jonathan Ross radio programme).  who led a discussion "Highs and Lows for Creative Industry and in particular resilience during the recession."
The Panel was led by Cath Ralph from the Burslem School of Art, and featured Peta Murphy Burke , Janet Hetherington from Creative Communities at Staffordshire University and our very own Lisa Wilding.

We have a video of Cath Ralph explaining Cre8net and some audience feedback from the event below and will be adding more content from the night over the coming days.

Also involved were the wonderful Bitjam "community developers, researchers, digital engagement specialists, web developers and digital artist/musicians" who performed live at the end of the evening and also captured some "audioboo" footage of the proceedings which is available below.
