Review | Robin Hood at the Regent Theatre

Slap my thigh it’s Panto time! and Stoke-on-Trent’s favourite double act are back with another high energy show for us Potteries folk to enjoy!

Dream team Jonny Wilkes and Christian Patterson have joined forces for the 10th Year together at the Regent Theatre in Hanley and audiences are in for an absolute treat.

Packed full of incredible dances, fantastic singing and side splittingly funny gags, this Panto has got something for everyone with a few added treats along the way – If you thought last years panto was good, you haven’t seen ANYTHING yet and this years show tops previous ten fold.

It’s not your usual run of the mill Pantomime either this has been ‘Stokeified’ by the duo to ensure it’s a lasting memory for audiences young and old.

This years cast is arguably one of the strongest and joining Jonny and Christian we have the welcome return of Kai Owen as the Sheriff of Stokingham a role which Owen revels in as he teases the audience, Peter Bonner as Little John, Rebecca Lisewski as The Spirit of Sherwood, Finley Guy as Maid Marion and a special mention for Delme Thomas who plays an excellent Will Scarlett who has the audience in stitches on so many occasions I lost count!

Musical Director Peter Faint is back once again for this years panto and lets be honest – it wouldn’t be the same without “Uncle Pete!”

If you only go to see one show this Christmas time, make THIS the show you see – You’ll leave full of festive joy and won’t be able to control your beaming smile!

Robin Hood is at the Regent Theatre until Sunday 6th January 2019 and you can get your tickets from or by popping in to the Regent Theatre box office!
