Coach Damaged Following Port Vale v Yeovil FC Game

Staffordshire Police are  appealing for witnesses following an incident of criminal damage reported to us after the Port Vale v Yeovil FC match on Saturday 13 January.

Damage was caused by unknown offenders who threw stones at the Yeovil FC supporters coach as it travelled on High Lane shortly after turning right out of Hamil Road at around 5.45pm. Substantial damage was caused to the coach windows and livery.

PC Robert Morgan of the Staffordshire Police Football Unit, said: “The football game itself was trouble free with no issues reported between the two sets of supporters so it’s disappointing to hear that an incident occurred after the match.

“I would urge anyone with information about the incident or the offenders to call us on 101 quoting incident 592 of 13 January. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

“CCTV from the area will continue to be reviewed and our investigation is on-going.”
