The Move Warehouse Special At Spode – PICS & VIDS
The Move is a locally based club night which hosted it’s biggest ever event at The China Halls, Spode in Stoke upon Trent on Saturday 2nd December 2017. Around 2,500 revellers enjoyed an all night party featuring a host of DJs including Matt Erst, Pete Bromley, Manu Gonzalez, and Chicago’s ‘Godfather of house music’ Derrick Carter at the former pottery factory in “The Move Warehouse Special.”
Organiser and former 6 Towns Radio presenter Lee Fredericks said
“Well, what can we say? We’re absolutely bowled over by the response and positive feedback we’ve had from everyone who attended The Move Warehouse Special on Saturday night, not to mention the words of support and encouragement from people who didn’t attend but heard how good it was! In our wildest dreams we couldn’t have imagined the event being so well received on every level from the authorities, artists and staff to the people who’s feedback really counts, the customers.
China Halls is without doubt one of the most incredible potential event spaces we have ever seen and to actually make this happen, not to mention it’s on our doorstep is nothing short of amazing. The fact that the event has been a joint venture between ourselves and the city council really has given the project a real sense of a city pulling together to achieve a goal to help get Stoke-on-Trent back on the map with regards to music venues and club culture for which we have a rich history of.
Events such as these will bring revellers from far and wide long term but this first event was all about our city of culture bid first and foremost. Everyone rose to the occasion and we are immensely proud to have helped facilitate this event and see a brighter future on the horizon for Stoke on Trent along with everyone who supported this event.”
We’ve added a few pictures of the event below as well as a couple of videos
