20-Year-old Chris Regis in the squad for tonight’s game

Neil Aspin today added 20-year-old Chris Regis to the squad and the midfielder, who is a free agent, is eligible to play in this evening’s Checkatrade Trophy tie against Crewe Alexandra.

The former Arsenal and Southampton under 18s starlet, who turns 21 later this week was with Colchester United last season, though he never featured in the first team for the Essex club.

Regis, who becomes Aspin’s first signing since taking over at Vale Park has joined the club until the end of the season.
