Stoke City Old Boy Association And Lord Mayor Combine To Recreate 1972 Cup Cavalcade

On the 12th March 2017 a recreation of the 1972 League Cup victory parade will take place around the streets of the City of Stoke – on – Trent. The idea came from former Football League referee John Hilditch through a facebook conversation with Ant Munday, Lord Mayor of Stoke – on – Trent after Ant had seen “Fishtail”, the original bus used to transport the team across the city  on their victory parade.  John is also a part of Stoke City Old Boy Association (SCOBA) who loved the idea and the team set about getting it organised and growing it into a classic vehicle cavalcade.
