The authentic French patisserie of Mamady & Bineta Sidibe officially opens on Saturday 12th July following a private opening with esteemed footballing guests including Mark Hughes and Steven N’Zonzi trying out the decadent sweets and desserts on offer this afternoon at Melice, in the lower mall of the intuPotteries centre.
A modern yet authentic-looking patisserie, there are throwbacks to the Parisian roots of the typical French patisserie with plenty of desserts on display with crepe’s and baguettes aplenty on offer. Having returned from a spell in Bulgaria with CSKA Sofia, the Malian striker, who grew up in Bagneux in Paris, will be assisting wife Bineta at the store when he can...if he can stop himself from eating all the macaroons!
So if you’ve a sweet tooth and are looking for genuine French food, baked and prepared to perfection then be sure to check out Melice for an authentic experience in a very friendly atmosphere. Who knows, you could be in there one day and be served an eclair by a former Stoke hero of yours!
